World Clock

Posted by on May 28, 2008

Here’s an interesting website you’ll find slightly disturbing:

http://www.poodwaddle.com/worldclock.swf

I won’t tell you what it’s all about other than to say it’s a sobering visual of the changes taking place in our world. At the top of the page you’ll notice several icons by the name of “year” “month” “week” etc. By clicking on those you can refine the statistics down to the minute.

Check it out and let me know your thoughts.

Interesting data, but I question the assertion that 10,983 species go extinct each year. (lower right hand side of the page)

I believe God made planet earth very very resilient, much more than people give Him credit.

The atmosphere is constantly scrubbed as massive weather systems circumnavigate the earth day and night.

Ultraviolet waves from the sun constantly sanitizes any particulates, good or bad, that we put on the ground, sea, or air.

Animals have the ability to adapt.

I believe God made the earth and its environment strong enough to endure as many generations as He has planned.

didn’t mean to get so political.
